Nice to meet you!
I grew up in Portland, OR, and spent many weekends with my product designer dad in antique and thrift stores, studying how things were made. I quickly became obsessed with vintage clothing - how garments held stories, aged with time, and revealed the hands that made them. I taught myself to sew on my mom’s treasured sewing machine, using vintage patterns as my guide and reference. That small curiosity turned into a full-time passion: I started collecting, restoring, and replicating everything from mid-century dresses to 1940s western suits, often found at estate sales in the early hours of the morning.
Parsons School of Design brought me to NYC, where I’m about to enter my senior year. I’ve focused my studies on the craft and science of making clothing - taking courses like machine knitting, tailoring, and couture construction to support my technical foundation. Conceptually, I explore nostalgia and the passage of time through vintage techniques and silhouettes, creating work that honors the past while making space for new stories. My goal is to design garments that feel timeless - pieces that can become future heirlooms, shaped by the wearer's life.

I thrive in hands-on environments and consider myself a detail-oriented and creative problem-solver. In an industry with constant change and growth, I pride myself on being organized and adaptable. As I explore the exciting opportunities in NYC, I’m always eager to connect and collaborate. Don’t hesitate to reach out!
