Look 1 features a full-fashioned 1x1 rib knit skirt made on a 10-gauge Dubied knitting machine. Exploring the heritage and capabilities of these machines, I wanted to include them in my thesis. This skirt has controlled runs placed carefully to represent time and an ability to see something wonderful and intricate in something so distressed it might've otherwise been discarded.
