Flea markets are tactile experiences for me - digging through piles of jewelry, clothes, and funny smells. Although a satisfying and romantic feeling of excess, it’s hard to forget its unsanitary nature. Gloves, a somewhat outdated accessory that populate market tables, offer protection against germs, and from unwanted stabbings from stray brooches. These gloves are laser engraved with a motif featuring items from my grandmother’s collection.
